What does Autopilot actually do?
Autopilot is TicketScout's flagship product. The moment matching availability appears for the monuments and dates you've configured, TicketScout fills the official booking form and holds the seat for your saved party. You finish payment on the official site inside the notification we send — typically with 5–10 minutes to spare before the monument's countdown timer releases the seat. Autopilot handles the race against other travelers; you handle the payment.
Does Autopilot also pay for my tickets?
No. TicketScout does not process, hold, or markup monument ticket payments. After Autopilot grabs and holds your seat, you receive an instant notification with a direct link to the payment page on the official monument site. You complete payment there with your own card, paying the same price you would pay booking directly. Monument ticket pricing is set by the official operator (typically €0–€37 per person). The $179 Autopilot fee covers TicketScout's monitoring and seat-holding service only.
How does TicketScout work?
TicketScout monitors official monument ticket and reservation inventory around the clock. We compare newly available slots against the dates, times, monument, and party details you saved in your alert. We monitor the minute-to-minute availability so you don't have to. When a match appears, TicketScout sends a notification with a direct link so you can book on the official site. With Autopilot, we go one step further: we fill the form and hold the seat for you, then ping you to complete payment.
Are alerts guaranteed to result in tickets?
No. Availability can disappear in seconds, and other travelers may book the slot before you complete checkout — even when an alert fires correctly. Autopilot is designed precisely for this problem: TicketScout grabs the seat the moment we find it, removing the race entirely. You still need to complete payment inside the countdown window, but the seat is yours while you do.
What happens if Autopilot doesn't find any availability during my window?
If no matching availability appears during your 31-day monitoring window, you can renew or extend it. We are evaluating a zero-match refund policy and will publish details before it becomes part of the standard Autopilot offering. For now, you pay only for the monitoring window — the same price as a Globetrotter plan plus the seat-holding capability.
Which monuments are supported at launch?
TicketScout currently supports Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and Notre Dame in Paris.
Do you offer monitoring for additional monuments like the Louvre or Sainte-Chapelle?
Not yet! We launched with the three most popular Paris attractions but we're working on adding more all the time. Coming next: London, Rome, and New York City. If there's a monument you feel particularly passionate about, email us at [email protected].
Why does TicketScout ask for party size, ages, and sometimes traveler names?
Some monument booking flows require the exact party size — and sometimes names and ages — to reveal real availability. TicketScout stores this information so your alert matches actual booking conditions. With Autopilot, the same party details are submitted to the official monument booking form so we can hold the seat for your specific party. We never share this information with anyone outside the official ticketing agency for the purpose of booking your tickets, per our Privacy Policy.
How many alerts can I create?
That depends on your plan. Wanderer is limited to one active alert with a 7-day monitoring window. Explorer supports up to two monuments with Email + WhatsApp delivery. Globetrotter supports up to five monuments with priority delivery including Pushover. Autopilot includes everything Globetrotter does plus seat-holding on all of them. Paid plans stay active for 31 days.
What about WhatsApp delivery — do I need WhatsApp installed?
Most travelers have WhatsApp already (especially internationally, where it is dominant). TicketScout sends ticket alerts via WhatsApp by default for Explorer and Globetrotter plans. If you don't have WhatsApp on the phone number you provided, the system automatically falls back to standard SMS — no extra setup needed.
Why does TicketScout recommend Pushover?
Pushover delivers push notifications to your phone in under 5 seconds — far faster than email or WhatsApp for same-minute openings where every second counts. We cover your Pushover license for Globetrotter and Autopilot plans — download the Pushover app for Android or iPhone and TicketScout sends you a setup link automagically!
Can I stop notifications after I book?
Yes. You can pause or delete the alert from your dashboard after you secure tickets, or update the alert criteria if you want TicketScout to keep monitoring for a better time. With Autopilot, monitoring stops automatically for any monument once the seat-holding succeeds and you complete payment.
Is TicketScout affiliated with the official ticket operators?
No. TicketScout is an independent monitoring and booking-assistance service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Eiffel Tower ticket office, Société d'Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel (SETE), Centre des monuments nationaux, the official Notre Dame reservation platform, or any other monument operator.
What happens if I forget my password?
