How TicketScout handles your information
This Privacy Policy describes how TicketScout ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information from you when you register on the site, create an alert, configure a party profile, receive notifications, or participate in another site feature.

Information we collect
We collect information from you when you register on our site, create an alert, save a party profile, subscribe to a plan, or interact with other site features. When registering or using the site, you may be asked to enter your:
- Name, email address, phone number (with country code), country, postal code, and password credentials.
- Alert preferences including monument, dates, time-of-day selections, notification channels, and add-on mode (Wanderlust, Autopilot).
- Party profile details such as traveler first and last names, ages at time of visit, and party size.
- Payment information processed through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). TicketScout does not store full card details.
- Pushover user keys and device names if you enable push notifications.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, cookies, and session data.
If you purchase a gift or send a notification to another person, we may collect that recipient's information solely for the purpose of completing the transaction. We do not use recipient information for marketing.
How we use your information
We may use the information we collect from you to:
- Create and secure your account.
- Personalize your experience and respond to your individual needs.
- Monitor ticket availability against the alerts and party details you configure.
- Send email, SMS, Pushover, or other notifications you have requested.
- Book tickets on your behalf when you enable the Autopilot add-on, using your saved party details and contact information to complete reservations on official monument booking sites.
- Process transactions and administer plan features.
- Improve our website and customer service based on your feedback.
- Enforce plan limits, investigate abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- Send periodic service-related messages regarding your account, alerts, or plan status.
How we protect your information
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential.
All sensitive information (such as payment data) is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and processed through a third-party payment provider. We do not store credit card information on our servers.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, compile aggregate data about site traffic and interaction, and improve your experience. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some features of the site may not function properly.
Third-party disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. These include:
- Hosting and database providers (e.g., Supabase, DigitalOcean).
- Authentication providers.
- Email delivery services (e.g., Resend).
- SMS delivery services (e.g., Twilio).
- Push notification services (e.g., Pushover).
- Payment processors (e.g., Stripe).
- Official monument ticketing operators — only when you enable the Autopilot add-on and TicketScout submits your party details (name, email, phone, country, postal code) to the official booking site to complete a reservation on your behalf. This information is shared solely for the purpose of booking the tickets you requested. TicketScout does not sell, resell, or profit from your personal data.
We may also release information when disclosure is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety.
SMS messaging privacy
If you opt in to SMS alerts, TicketScout collects your mobile phone number and maintains records of messages sent. SMS messages are delivered through Twilio, a third-party provider. Your phone number is stored securely and is used only for delivering the ticket availability alerts you have requested. We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
You may opt out of SMS alerts at any time by replying STOP to any message, by disabling SMS in your dashboard, or by contacting [email protected]. You may request access to or deletion of your SMS-related data by contacting the same address.
Data retention
We retain account, alert, and notification records for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, provide support, enforce our rights, satisfy compliance obligations, and maintain business records. When you delete your account or an alert, related data is removed or anonymized within a reasonable timeframe.
Your choices
- You may review and update your profile information from your dashboard at any time.
- You may pause or delete alerts you no longer wish to monitor.
- You may opt out of SMS alerts by replying STOP or disabling SMS in your alert settings.
- You may opt out of email notifications from your profile settings.
- You may request account deletion or data access by emailing [email protected].
Children
TicketScout is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child, we will take reasonable steps to remove that information.
International use
TicketScout operates from the United States and may use service providers that process data in the United States or other countries. By using the service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with privacy laws different from those in your home country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of TicketScout after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
