Rules for using TicketScout

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using TicketScout, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

What TicketScout provides

TicketScout is a monitoring and notification service that matches travelers with real-time ticket and reservation inventory directly from official monument and point-of-interest booking sites. TicketScout does not sell tickets, does not hold inventory, does not control third-party availability, and does not guarantee that any ticket or reservation will remain available by the time you attempt to book it. TicketScout is not a ticket reseller, broker, or secondary marketplace.

No affiliation with monument operators

TicketScout is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any monument operator, ticket office, booking platform, or reservation platform. That includes, without limitation, Société d'Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel (SETE), Centre des monuments nationaux, and the official Notre Dame reservation platform. Monument and operator names appear only to identify the sites and services users want to monitor.

Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. The receipt of a signup confirmation or order summary does not constitute acceptance of an order; we reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse service, or cancel accounts at our discretion.

Plans, paid services, and pricing

When you purchase a TicketScout plan, you are paying for access to our monitoring and alert service for a fixed monitoring window (7 days for Wanderer, 31 days for paid plans). This fee covers TicketScout's monitoring, notification delivery, and — if you purchase Autopilot — automated form-filling and seat-holding on your behalf. Autopilot does not cover the cost of the monument ticket itself, and TicketScout does not process the monument-ticket payment.

Monument ticket costs are separate. When TicketScout Autopilot holds a seat for you, you complete payment directly on the official monument site using the payment link in the notification we send. The ticket price is charged by the official monument operator or ticketing platform, not by TicketScout. TicketScout does not charge a markup on ticket prices, ever. You pay the same price you would pay booking directly on the official site.

Paid plans are billed as one-time purchases with no auto-renewal. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, alerts begin when created and expire at the end of your monitoring window. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor. TicketScout does not store credit card information.

Notifications and messaging

TicketScout may send notifications by email, Pushover, WhatsApp, SMS, or other methods available on your plan. Delivery timing varies based on third-party systems, connectivity, device settings, and provider limitations. TicketScout is not responsible for delays, filtering, carrier blocking, or failures outside its control.

Mobile messaging terms (WhatsApp and SMS)

If you opt in to mobile messaging, you consent to receive automated ticket availability messages from TicketScout to the phone number you provide. Messages are routed via WhatsApp by default; if WhatsApp is unavailable on the recipient number, messages fall back automatically to standard SMS. Messages are sent only when matching availability is detected for your configured monuments and dates.

• Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
• Standard message and data rates may apply when messages are delivered via SMS fallback. WhatsApp messages do not incur SMS rates but may use data on your phone.
• Message frequency varies based on ticket availability (typically 1-10 messages per week during an active monitoring window).
• You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message.
• Reply HELP for support or email [email protected].
• To re-enroll after opting out, text START or re-enable mobile messaging from your dashboard.
• WhatsApp and SMS delivery are not guaranteed and depend on carrier networks, device factors, and Meta/WhatsApp policies beyond our control.

User responsibilities

• Use TicketScout only for lawful purposes.
• Do not attempt to interfere with the site, monitoring, or notification systems.
• Do not scrape, copy, or automate TicketScout in a way that harms the service or other users.
• Do not impersonate others or provide false account or traveler information.
• Act promptly on alerts if you want the best chance of booking the opening that was found.

Autopilot seat-holding authorization

If you purchase Autopilot, you authorize TicketScout to act as your designated booking-assistance agent in a narrow and specified capacity:

• TicketScout will fill the official monument reservation form on your behalf and hold the seat for your saved party when matching availability is found.
• Seat-holding is performed only for the monuments, dates, and party members you have explicitly configured in your account.
• TicketScout does not process payment for monument tickets. After Autopilot holds the seat, you receive an instant notification with a direct payment link. You must complete payment on the official monument site within the monument's countdown timer (typically 5–10 minutes) using your own card. If payment is not completed in time, the held seat is released by the monument and TicketScout cannot recover it.
• TicketScout is not a ticket reseller, broker, or secondary marketplace. We match you with real-time inventory directly from the official source. We do not mark up, resell, or profit from the ticket price itself — you pay the same price as booking directly.
• Monument ticket charges are processed by the official ticketing operator, not by TicketScout. Estimated ticket costs are displayed before you create an alert, but final prices may vary based on changes in monument pricing, fees, surcharges, or visitor category.
• All monument ticket purchases are final. TicketScout cannot assist with changing, refunding, cancelling, or reselling tickets after purchase. Refund and exchange policies are governed solely by the official monument operator.
• You may revoke this authorization at any time by disabling Autopilot in your account settings.
• TicketScout is not responsible for booking failures caused by official site outages, sold-out inventory, missed payment windows, payment issues on the official site, or changes to the monument's reservation system.
• After a monument is successfully booked and paid for, monitoring and seat-holding attempts stop automatically for that monument.

Monument ticket purchases

Monument tickets purchased through official booking sites — whether booked manually by you or automatically by TicketScout Autopilot — are transactions between you and the official ticketing operator. TicketScout does not process, hold, or intermediate payment for monument tickets. All monument ticket sales are final. TicketScout cannot assist with changing, refunding, cancelling, transferring, or reselling tickets after purchase. For refund or exchange requests, contact the official monument operator directly.

Third-party websites

TicketScout links users to third-party booking and reservation sites. Those sites have their own terms, privacy practices, and availability systems. TicketScout is not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, checkout behavior, or booking outcomes. Use of third-party sites is at your own risk.

Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of TicketScout and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from this site without express written permission.

Suspension and termination

TicketScout may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if it believes a user has violated these Terms, abused the service, created security or legal risk, or used the service in a way that harms TicketScout or others. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone without prior notice.

Disclaimer of warranties

TicketScout is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TicketScout disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TicketScout and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of the service, including but not limited to lost bookings, missed opportunities, delayed notifications, third-party checkout failures, or data loss — even if previously advised of the possibility of such damages.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, United States — the state in which IDEEO INTERACTIVE LLC is organized — without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of TicketScout after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
